Winnipeg, MB — Canadian Canola Growers Association (CCGA) welcomed two new members to its board of directors during the association's annual general meeting on February 19.
Katelyn Duncan from Regina, Saskatchewan, and Roger Chevraux from Killam, Alberta, were welcomed to the board. Two members who retired from the board were Doyle Wiebe from Saskatchewan, who served on CCGA's board for six years and Denis Guindon from Alberta, who served for three years.
"We appreciate the dedication that both Doyle and Denis have shown to serving the interests of Canada's canola farmers," says Bernie McClean, Chair of CCGA. "We look forward to the contributions Roger and Katelyn will make to the board, as we navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead of us."
CCGA's 10 board members represent five provincial canola organizations:
