​​​​​​​​​​​Winnipeg, Manitoba  --  The Canadian Canola Growers Association (CCGA) is pleased to welcome Dave Gallant as the new Director of Finance and Operations, effective September 2, 2014.

Gallant brings a wealth of experience in finance and marketing services for farmers. During his 21 years at the Canadian Wheat Board, Gallant successfully delivered a full suite of time and money saving e-business services to farmers and industry partners.

“Dave’s previous experience with the Advance Payments Program will be a great benefit to CCGA,” says Rick White, CEO of CCGA. “He brings a remarkable resume of simplifying business processes for growers and we’re excited for him to join our team.

Gallant holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours from the University of Manitoba and is a Chartered Accountant. In his new role, Gallant will be responsible for the daily operations of the cash advance program, information technology services and financial management.

CCGA represents more than 43,000 canola farmers on national and international issues, policies and programs that impact farm profitability.
