Winnipeg, MB – Canada's canola farmers welcome the newly appointed Minister of Agriculture and Agri-food, the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, to her new portfolio.

We look forward to sharing more about canola's opportunities with Minister Bibeau in the near future."
The canola industry has set targets to increase sustainable production through innovation and sound stewardship, and relies on science-based decision making to help achieve those goals. With 90% of canola production destined for export markets, the industry depends on state of the art infrastructure and efficient corridors to keep canola moving to customers around the globe.
"With almost $10 billion in farm cash receipts in 2017, canola represents a large portion of Canada's agriculture sector," says Rick White, Chief Executive Officer of CCGA.
