CCGA’s New Look at 40 Years

At Canadian Canola Growers Association, we’re proud of our first forty years working with, and for, Canadian farmers. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re excited to share a vibrant new look for CCGA!

“Our new look celebrates our long history in agriculture and recognizes how we’ve grown and matured as national farm organization,” says Rick White, President & CEO of CCGA. “We evolved to better reflect the CCGA of today – our priorities, culture, and values.”

CCGA’s updated branding includes a new logo showcasing a contemporary canola flower, a lively blue colour palette symbolizing the vast blue skies that span Canada’s canola farms, and a maple leaf representing the national perspective of the organization.

“Our new brand identity embraces CCGA’s vision and proudly expresses our deep canola roots,” says White. "It's bold, modern, and reflects the energy, care, and depth of knowledge our employees put into Helping Farmers Succeed."

In addition to a visually striking logo, we’ve improved our website and re-energized all of our communications including our customer e-newsletter.

We wanted to encapsulate the great things we already represent, so we asked farmers, stakeholders, and staff to share their CCGA stories with us. Those stories planted the seeds of our transformation.

This update hasn’t changed our core identity. CCGA continues to be an organization created and led by farmers, with a solid 40-year history of Helping Farmers Succeed.

We’re ready for our next chapter. Check us out and get to know a new side of CCGA!

CCGA’s Story

CCGA was founded in 1984, to give canola farmers access to cash advances through the Advance Payments Program. Over the years, CCGA’s delivery of cash advances has expanded to over 50 commodities, and now serves thousands of farmers across four provinces.

More recently, CCGA has built a dedicated team of agriculture policy development experts who conduct in-depth policy research in key policy areas that are impactful for canola farmers. In addition, CCGA’s government relations team passionately brings the canola farmer perspective to the table when national policy issues that impact farmers are being discussed.
